Mike grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He attended the University of South Dakota and received a BA and JD. He has been a resident of Denver since 1984, and formerly practiced law.
Mike and his wife of 45 years, Jill, have two adult children and are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren.
